Coding of the

terminal block

Code the terminal block and its counterpart on the module so the terminal blocks can

not be exchanged with each other.

Coding of the terminal block:

WARNING

You may come into contact with electrical voltages as soon as the

I/O unit is live.

Ensure that the module is not live when plugging the coding pins into

the module and the terminal block.

Failure to observe this precaution can result in severe injury or

equipment damage.
